Library

Located on the ground floor of the College, the Shaikh Hamdan Library consists of three rooms, which are fully capable of offering students access to the College’s collection of print resources as well as ample space and facilities for study.

The College has an established library, housing a collection of over 23,000 volumes and is available to both students and visitors alike.

The Library’s main collection is housed in the central room, where you will find the Issue Desk, and consists of a large number of books covering all the current programmes offered by the College and more. Browsing is actively encouraged and if you cannot find what you are looking for, feel free to ask our friendly staff who are more than willing to be of help, or alternatively, you can consult the Library Catalogue.

If you are an Arabic speaker or learner, you may find our Arabic collection of interest. This is housed in a side room adjacent to the main room and holds an impressive collection of texts in Arabic on a wide variety of academic subjects.

The Library also has a collection of journals as well as theses and dissertations from past alumni of the College. These can be found in the other side room adjacent to the main room.
