Summer School students embrace cultural activity sessions in Dundee

Dundee and Angus College welcomed Al-Maktoum College visiting students to its premises yesterday, as part of the Summer School programme.

During the visit, students enjoyed activity sessions throughout the day including Scottish Country dancing, baking and dramatic performance.

“The sessions today have been a fantastic experience. The dramatic performance was especially interesting to me because we discussed confidence in story telling and presentation skills but in an interactive way that I have never experienced before” said one student.

She continued, “My experience of the Summer School programme so far has been wonderful. I am learning and practising new skills every day’.

Dr Abubaker stated that ‘the activity sessions are vital to the overall cultural exchange aspect of the Summer School programme and Al-Maktoum College is pleased to be able to offer such activities to students, with support from Dundee and Angus College’.
