Shona Robison, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, visited Al-Maktoum College (Friday, February 9) to meet the 53 students currently undertaking the 25th Academic Training Programme in Multiculturalism and Leadership.
Dr Abi Abubaker welcomed and introduced Ms Robison, who is also Scottish National Party MSP for Dundee City East and an Honorary Fellow of the College.
The Cabinet Secretary talked in detail about her role as a politician and then answered students’ questions on a range of topics.
Dr Abubaker said: “It was a most encouraging session for the students who clearly found Ms Robison’s talk interesting and informative, given the number of questions raised.
“The College is very pleased that Ms Robison was able to visit us again.”
