Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University
Dr Farhad Fassihi Tash is a Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Nottingham Trent University, with over 40 years of experience in academia and the IT industry. He has designed and implemented innovative IT solutions and received national and international awards for innovation and excellence. He is a certified Lead Assessor of AI Ethics under the IEEE CertifAIEd framework and served on the international panel of experts responsible for its review in 2023. Dr Fassihi Tash is currently contributing to research on AI safety and ethics as part of the Universal Ethics Community of Practice (CoP), a global coalition dedicated to ensuring the safe and ethical implementation of emerging technologies. He also chairs the IEEE UK & Ireland Systems Council and the Systematic Innovation Special Interest Group, where he promotes ethical system practices and drives innovation in complex systems.
Dr Farhad will be a keynote speaker at our upcoming International Conference on Data Analytics for Sustainability and Engineering Technology.
