Beginners, intermediate and advanced courses start week commencing Monday 17 May 2021.


Are you interested in learning Arabic language for personal interest, to become familiar with certain aspects of Arab culture, society and history; or to pursue further education? Learn Arabic online with Alm College.

We are specialists, teaching Arabic Language to a diverse body of students with a wide variety of academic and professional needs or personal interests.  As a result, you will develop all four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Most importantly, all courses are taught by expert native speakers.


Why Arabic? Importantly, Arabic is the liturgical language of 1.6 billion Muslims, but it also an official language of the Arab League, the Organisation of the Islamic Conference and the African Union, and is also one of the six official languages of the United Nations (UN).


In addition, Arabic is a Semitic Language and is closely related to Aramaic and Hebrew. Literary Arabic is an official language of 27 countries and is spoken by well over 400 million native speakers in a wide region stretching across the Middle East, North Africa and the Horn of Africa.

Complete beginners (no previous knowledge required)

  • Monday 17 May until Friday 11 June
  • 15 hours per week – 3 hours per day with additional independent study
  • Live, online teaching from 09.30-12.30 BST, Monday to Friday



  • 18 May until 20 July
  • 2 hours live, online teaching per week
  • Tuesdays from 18.00-20.00 BST



  • 19 May until 21 July
  • 2 hours live, online teaching per week
  • Wednesdays from 09.30-11.30 BST



  • Beginners – £250
  • Intermediate & advanced – £150


Concessionary rates may be available for the following (proof required):

The College’s preferred method of payment is online using a credit or debit card. You will be sent details of how to pay when you have received an offer of study.


Class size

If a course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will be given.
