SQA Guidance Notes to assist applicants can be found here , and for the evening courses here.

Applications should include the following information:

Direct application

Applications made directly through the College website will be acknowledged by email. This will be sent from after an application of study has been submitted. Further information or documents may also be requested at this stage.

We consider all aspects of the application; academic qualifications, personal statement and references. We may also invite applicants to a casual interview to give more information about their application.

Applications to the HNC/D in Business or the HNC/Diploma in Management & Leadership may be submitted through UCAS. More information about applying through UCAS can be found here.

Offer decision

The Admissions team aims to respond to direct applicants within 72 hours, once receiving a completed application of study. Successful applicants will receive either a conditional or unconditional admissions offer.

UCAS decisions will be made directly through the Track function.

Conditional offer

Applicants are requested to obtain or provide evidence of further or pending qualifications/documents that will allow them to fully satisfy the course entry criteria. Students may, for example, be awaiting final exam results, or an English language test certificate.

Unconditional offer

Applicants whose qualifications fully satisfy the entry criteria of their desired programme.

Received an offer?

Congratulations! All applicants who have received an unconditional offer will receive a welcome email with further information. If the offer is conditional, applicants will receive further information after meeting their conditions.

If applicants wish to make a complaint or appeal an application decision, please refer to the Complaints and Appeals procedure for Applicants
