Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees 2019/20

The tuition fee you pay will depend on your course and your fee status. Students’ fee status is normally the same as your country of residence, this will be confirmed after we have received your application. More information on fee status can be found on the UKCISA website.

Scotland/EU fees are for students who are domiciled in Scotland or the European Union

  • Rest of UK (RUK) fees are for students domiciled England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man
  • Overseas (non-EU) fees are for students who require a tier 4 visa to study in the UK*

*If you are a current student at the University of Dundee, Abertay or St Andrews on a tier 4 visa, you may be eligible for Scotland/EU fee status.

If you are unsure which fee status you will be classified as, please email

In addition to tuition fees, you will also be expected to cover your cost of living including accommodation, subsistence, books, travel and other costs. More information on cost of living can be found here
