Tuition Fees 2020/21

Tuition fees will depend upon the students chosen course and fee status. Students’ fee status is normally the same as your country of residence- this will be confirmed after we have received an application of study. Further information on fee status can be found on the UKCISA website.

Scotland/EU fees are for students who are domiciled in Scotland or the European Union.

  • Rest of UK (RUK) fees are for students domiciled England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man
  • Overseas (non-EU) fees are for students who require a tier 4 visa to study in the UK*

*If applicants are also currently a student at the University of Dundee, Abertay or St Andrews on a tier 4 visa, they may be eligible for Scotland/EU fee status.

In addition to tuition fees, students will also be expected to cover the cost of living including accommodation, subsistence, books, travel and other costs. Information on cost of living can be found here.

Please note that if applicants are not eligible for a bursary or scholarship for fees or living costs, they should ensure that they have funding in place to cover the cost for the full duration of your studies.

Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Islamic Finance programmes are not eligible for SAAS funding or UK government loans.

For HN programmes, students may be eligible to have fees paid and other support including the Disabled Students’ Allowance. More information can be found on the SAAS website.
