The power of art and culture, in uniting faiths and communities, is a topic central to this year’s virtual Building Bridges Symposium.
In conjunction with Scottish Interfaith Week 2020, we are hosting a free half-day event featuring leading lights in Dundee’s arts and culture scene alongside highly regarded academics. With its theme of ‘Connecting’, the Symposium will explore how creative pursuits can build bridges between cultures, both locally and internationally.
Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity for interfaith groups, faith communities, schools, organisations and local communities across the country to celebrate Scotland’s religious diversity by planning events that bring people together to promote dialogue, understanding and co-operation between Scotland’s diverse religious communities and cultures.
