Overview


The Professional Diploma in Organisational Learning is an interdisciplinary qualification providing you with the knowledge and skills to become an active learning and growth professional. It will enable you to contribute effectively to your organisations as well as an understanding of how to implement the practices of good learning-driven organisations.

Knowledge and understanding of these areas are developed through operational, functional and strategic management units. The qualification also introduces you to the fundamental concepts of organisational learning, learning organisations, individual, team and machine learning. It builds on diversified bodies of knowledge, including total quality management, open innovation, organisational development, and workplace learning, focusing on applying these concepts in the organisation. It includes driving a culture of continuous improvement and managing change to achieve and sustain business excellence.

Programme level


This programme is approved and credit-rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). It is available on a full-time, part-time basis or blended learning basis.

The Professional Diploma is awarded at SCQF level 9

Programme duration


You can choose to start in September or January.

Entry requirements


 

Academic requirements An honours degree from a UK university, or equivalent.
Work experience 3-5 years work experience in any field.

 

International applicants who require a visa to study in the UK will need to ensure that they have an IELTS test from a UKVI approved test centre.

Applicants would need to have achieved an average score of 6.0 in their IELTS test (with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four sub-components of language learning (reading, writing, speaking and listening).

Teaching


  • You will attend weekly lectures
