Our Higher National (HNC/D) courses in Business are designed to prepare individuals with the knowledge and fundamental skills to be able to navigate within highly competitive and ever-changing industries.
Students will gain insight into the different factors that influence modern-day businesses as well as the structures and strategies adopted by organisations to develop, grow and succeed.
Successful completion of year 1 (HNC) will allow you to progress onto year 2 (HND). Alternatively, students may choose to apply to university to continue studies at degree level. Students will study individual units such as business accounting, IT, managing people, HRM, economics and marketing to help individuals become experts within in the field.

Students can choose whether to study Full-time or Part-time (daytime, evening and/or weekends), and will be taught through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, case studies, group work, projects and Virtual Learning Environments. All teaching will take place within the College.
Students will be assessed using continuous assessment and exams throughout the duration of the course.
The HNC/D may enhance your career by developing skills such as critical analysis, networking, team-building, communication skills, problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills and written and oral presentation skills.
