Fee status

How to check which fees you will pay

Your fee status is normally the same as your country of residence- this will be confirmed after we have received an application of study.

If you are also currently a student at the University of Dundee, Abertay University or the University of St Andrews and already on a Student Visa, you may be eligible for Scotland fee status.

Contact Admissions

If your main residence is in Scotland, then your fee status will usually be Scotland.

You will be liable for fees, unless you are applying for an HNC/D programme and are eligible to have your fees paid by the Scottish Award Agency Scotland (SAAS). Contact SAAS for advice.

If you live in England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man, your fee status will be Rest of UK (RUK).

You will be liable for fees unless you are applying for an HNC/D programme and are eligible to apply for government loans. Contact Student Finance in your country for advice.

Overseas (including EU) fees are for students who require a Student Visa to study in the UK.

Current university students residing in Scotland, should refer to ‘Scotland’ fee status information.
